

Functional Safety & Machinery Engineering
Over the course of my career I have been directly involved in the safety assessment, compliance, and commissioning of more than 150 machines, representing over €35 million in equipment value across industrial manufacturing and aerospace production environments.
My work spans the full safety lifecycle: hazard identification, risk assessment per ISO 13849-1, IEC 62061, and ISO 12100, safety system design and validation, technical documentation, and legal sign-off as responsible CMSE® and vEFK (verantwortliche Elektrofachkraft - Responsible Electrical Safety Specialist).
Technologies and systems I have worked with include: Ultrasonic Welding, Laser Engraving, Industrial Robots, PLCs and HMIs across multiple brands, Safety PLCs, Light Curtains, Two-Hand Controls, Safety Sensors, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems, Hydropneumatic Presses, High Voltage Dielectric Testing (up to 3.5 kVA), Thermal and Leak Testing, Vision Sensors, and Data Acquisition systems (LabVIEW, Elipse).
Earlier in my career I designed electrical schematics in EPLAN and developed PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) programs across multiple machine types. That hands-on background directly supports my current work, giving me the technical depth to inspect, audit, and approve electrical designs and safety-related control systems with confidence.
